PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To provide guidance and assistance to the finance department in the processing and reconciliation of monthly financial position accounts. To supervise the accounts payable section and ensure accuracy, completeness, and validity of data. Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts by reconciling and consolidating financial information in accordance with IFRS and IAS. To ensure the smooth running of the financial department.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
•    An Honours Degree in Accounting.
•    Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting field.
•    Accreditations in NIPAM, ACCA, ICAN are an advantage.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
•    Perform statement of financial position GL reconciliations.
•    Managing of Fixed Assets register (capitalization, depreciation, disposals etc.) in line with IASs.
•    Oversee and reconciling of inter-company transactions.
•    Organizing and manage year-end and mid-year inventory counts.
•    Ensure that transactions in those GL accounts are valid, complete, and accurate.
•    Reconcile and timely expensing inventory (vessel spares)
•    Prepare and manage the amortization schedule ensuring accurate and timeous recording transactions.
•    Foreign tax administration and submissions
•    Supervise accounts payable section.
•    Account for external borrowings and leases in with IASs.
•    Assist with preparation of Annual Financial Statements.
•    Assist with preparation of monthly management reports.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic Human capital team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees, managing payroll queries, and supporting compliance with statutory obligations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

•  Diploma / Advance Diploma in Finance / Human Resources or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Payroll processing preferably withing the FMCG environments.
• Proficiency in payroll SAP software and  familiarity with Excel and reporting tools.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Process end-to-end payroll on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Process payroll records including new hires, leavers, and changes in employee details.
• Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, and other withholdings.
• Prepare and submit statutory payments.
• Reconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepancies.
• Liaise with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate payroll information.
• Handle employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Always maintain confidentiality of payroll data.
