Job Purpose
Internal vacancy exists for Officer Warehouse C2 within the Supply Chain department reporting to the Warehouse Controller. The primary purpose of the role is to execute tasks related to the, Loading and Offloading of stock & non-stock Items, dispatching of goods, Fuel management, Collecting, Receiving and Delivery of goods as per company standards and procedures and to operates support equipment used at Logistics / Warehouse and conduct daily inspection to ensure safe operations.
Key Performance Areas
- Adhering to prescribed safety rules and regulations and performing daily housekeeping tasks.
- Conducting daily CCC with the team.
- Attending and contributing to daily safety talks and monthly safety meetings.
- Offloading deliveries of all stock and non-stock items and checking that the correct procedures are followed based on the method of delivery as prescribed in standard instruction.
- Ensuring that the release to requester transaction is completed, after appropriate and correct verifications have been carried out.
- Checking and Authorizes Dispatch documentation, especially customs declaration forms and purposes.
- Dip and capture Meter readings with Fuel Contractor as per Standard working procedure.
- Receiving the deliveries on the system and indicating any discrepancies.
- Verifying weights stated on transport GRV’s against own weighbridge readings and goods received against packing lists.
- Operating light vehicles, trucks, forklifts, and tackers.
- Organizing and Controlling the Dispatching of Stock/Non-Stock and Repairable items on instruction from Warehousing or End-Users.
- Conducting a proper inspection to ensure that trucks are loaded safely according to Safe work procedure.
- Ensuring that all Documentation is Filled as per required Standard.
- Carrying out postal service activities internal/external when required.
Minimum Requirements
- Three (3) Years National Diploma in Logistics, Supply chain Management, Business Administration or related field with 2-years post qualification related experience.
OR - Grade 12 with Minimum of E in English and Five (5) Years Working Experience in Mining Warehouse.
- A police certificate of conduct not older than six (6) months is required. A record will not automatically disqualify candidates.

The Primary Purpose of the Role
Vacancy exists for a role of Administrator: Mining reporting to the Manager Mining Operations. The successful incumbent responsible to provide a complete administrative support function, while maintaining company standards and a high level of confidentiality.
Key Performance Areas
- Adhering to all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

4.Chemist
Job Purpose:
A Vacancy exists for a Chemist on a Fixed-Term Contract in the Laboratory section within the Processing department, reporting to the Superintendent: Metallurgy, Process Control & Laboratories. The primary purpose of this role is to provide accurate and precise chemical analysis data to processing plant, mining, exploration, condition monitoring, environmental and water management sections for process control, short- and long-term planning and water quality monitoring within the parameters of cost and Rössing OHSE standards.
Key performance areas
• Maintaining HSE standards
• Carrying out special projects as requested by Senior Chemist/Superintendent.
• Carrying out analysis of special samples requested by external clients;
• Ensuring all sampling units are functioning according to specifications and sampling protocol is maintained at all times;
• Preparing and assigning values to in-house control samples using statistical evaluations
• Monitoring laboratory QC charts (Shewhart), investigate and rectify deviations/ problems.
• Inspecting and checking equipment conditions and calibration standards to ensure high degree of accuracy and precision is always maintained.

Minimum requirements of the role
• A recognised bachelor’s degree (BSc or BTech) in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry. NQF Level 7) OR a recognised National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry NQF Level 6.
• For Degree Holders: A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Chemical / Mining / Metallurgical laboratory, with exposure in wet chemical and instrumental inorganic analysis and the use of statistic certification and validation techniques, of which three (3) years should be at a supervisory level.
• For Diploma Holders: A minimum of even (7) years’ experience in Chemical / Mining / Metallurgical laboratory, with exposure in wet chemical and instrumental inorganic analysis and the use of statistic certification and validation techniques of which three (3) years should be at a supervisory level.
• A valid Code B driver’s licence.
