VACANCY: COMMUNITY CARE WORKER (CCW) x 143
Job Summary: The Community Care Worker (CCW) is the frontline staff responsible for delivering life-saving HIV care and support services to orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), specifically children living with HIV (CLHIV), HEI and their caregivers under the EpiC Namibia Project.
The CCW ensures continuity of HIV care, supports ART adherence and viral load monitoring and suppression, links children to clinical and psychosocial services, and strengthens case management at the household level.
Minimum Requirements:
• Education: A passed Grade 12 certificate; additional training in community health counselling preferred.
• Experience: Prior OVC work under REACH 1 or REACH 2 as a CCW or Case Worker is a mandatory requirement.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of HIV prevention, ART adherence, disclosure support, & psychosocial care.
• Skills: Excellent communication, empathy, and record-keeping skills including use of electronic data capturing devices; ability to maintain confidentiality and work with vulnerable children.
• Language: Fluency in English and local languages of the assigned community.

• Upon successful selection, Project HOPE Namibia will require a valid police clearance certificate not older than 6 months before the candidate can commence duties.
