A global one stop company for quality shipping, marine and logistics services is looking for a dedicated person to join their team in the Walvis bay branch.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- To ensure top quality ships agency services are rendered to all clients (external and internal)
- To order & confirm all services promptly.
- To meet clients & SSAs KPIs.
- To assist in representing the company at port authority and industry meetings.
- To handle Non Liner vessel requirements and vessel operations.
- To update system SSA LIVE / PORT360 / AFSYS.
- Compiling and sending PDAs with detailed information to principals.
- To reconcile and sign off vendor and port invoices and submit SDAs to accounts within the required time period as per SSA KPI.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Requirements
- MS Office Suite
- Minimum 3yrs + Ship Agency experience
- Experience in handling Husbandry matters as well as various types of cargo operations including Bulk, Breakbulk, Tanker & Roro vessels will be highly advantageous.
- Code 08 drivers licence (essential)
- Own reliable Vehicle (essential)

- Good written and oral communication skills with principals and team members
- Analytical Skills
- Able to keep information private and confidential
- Able to work after hours and weekends as/when required
