PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To efficiently produce quality bakery products of all sorts on time.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
- 2 Years’ experience in a confectionery or bakery environment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for receiving orders from customer.
- Ensuring that orders are entered onto the confectionery sheet.
- Responsible for stock take on allocated counters before shop opens.
- To strictly follow recipes.
- Responsible for using correct yield weight and scaling weight.
- To perform stock rotation in accordance with the FIFO principle.
- Complying with the health and safety regulations of the bakery department.
SKILL & ATTRIBUTES
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Planning and organising capabilities.
- Must be proactively creative.
- Ability to see through tasks as per the required standards.
