MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Namibian resident
- 5+ years experience in utility-scale Solar PV construction & project management
- Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules & budgets
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication & leadership skills
- Expertise in hybrid generation systems
- H&S certification (e.g., IOSH or equivalent)
- Strong financial & contract management skills
- Valid Driver’s Licence
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Awareness of British & International standards
- Construction Oversight – Supervise design, procurement & construction phases
- Contract & Financial Oversight – Manage EPC/O&M contracts & milestone payments
- Experience in subcontractor hiring & management
- Familiarity with solar PV tech, data logging & BMS
- H&S & Quality Compliance – Maintain high safety & reporting standards
- Hands-on decision-making on construction sites
- In-depth Health & Safety & risk assessment knowledge
- Project Management – Oversee all project aspects from planning to completion
- Reporting & Meetings – Weekly project updates to clients & internal teams
- Schedule & Budget Management – Ensure timely, cost-effective project execution
- Stakeholder Coordination – Serve as primary contact for EPC & project stakeholders
- Strong electrical knowledge & technical drawing interpretation
- Strong MS Project, Excel, Word & PowerPoint skills
