Job Purpose

As a driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the reputation of our business by providing good customer service while delivering.

Responsibilities:

Key Performance Areas * Transportation

  • Collect and transport goods.
  • Complete job tickets/Pick-up slips at customers.
  • Client liaison.
  • Maintain Vehicle records.
  • Maintain corporate image of vehicles.
  • Ensure invoices are always signed.
  • Ensure invoices reflect correct product and quantities.
  • Ensure that the load is properly secured (i.e., goods are strapped down)
  • Bank daily.
  • Deliver/Pick-up papers, cheques or any other items for Regional Office and Windhoek Branch.
  • Make payments for all Vehicle License’s at Natis.
  • Asset protection
  • Ensure safe transportation of goods.
  • Daily vehicle inspection.
  • Service vehicle regularly.
  • Ensure vehicle is always clean.
  • Drive respectfully.
  • Use equipment correctly.
  • Security
  • Care for goods delivered.
  • Park in a safe place
  • Health & Safety
  • Adhere to Health & Safety standards in the workplace and does not endanger other parties.
  • Comply with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Ensure personal safety equipment and facilities provided by the company are in good and clean condition.

General

  • Undertake all reasonable requests and instructions, given verbally or in writing that fall within the parameters of own line of duty.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education, Master, other certification

  • Grade 10 certificate
  • Code C1 Driver’s license.

Experience (years):

  • Computer literacy
  • 3-5 Years Driving Experience

Languages Skills:

  • English
  • Any local spoken languages

Soft/Behavioral Skills:

  • Integrity
  • Teamwork
  • Friendly personality
