POSITION LOCATION: Windhoek, Khomas, Namibia
POSITON NAME: Factory Manager
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 20-22 years Extensive experience in the diamond cutting/polishing
- industry with 15-20 years in management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration/ business management, Commerce or a related field.
- Must be conversant with rough and polished diamond import/export requirements
- Knowledgeable with DiamTrade system and production stock reporting.
Main duties:
- Managing the entire operation of the factory, including production processes and quality control.
- Overseeing budgets and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Ensuring the factory complies with company policies and procedures.
- Performing general administrative tasks to support factory operations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the consistent output of high-quality diamonds.
- Managing a team of skilled and unskilled workers.
- Conducting workforce training and development and being able to identify areas of needs.
- Enforcing quality controls and equipment maintenance programs.
- Liaising with suppliers, stakeholders, and senior management
