Job Description
As a Millwright / Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and ensuring the optimal operation of our machinery and installations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Performing scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine functionality.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly and effectively responding to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance: Handling both mechanical and electrical maintenance for various equipment and machinery in our facility
- Technical Documentation: Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, electrical diagrams, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to carry out necessary tasks.
- Contributing to Improvement: Actively participating in process improvements and technical optimizations.
Requirements
We are looking for an enthusiastic professional who meets the following criteria:
- Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in a production or processing environment.
- Qualification: National Red Seal Trade Diploma or equivalent certification.
- Technical Skills: Strong expertise in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Independence: Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.
- Eagerness to Learn: Passion for learning and growing in your field.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Afrikaans and English, with a willingness to learn Dutch.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts.
