PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To oversee procurement operations and ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services. To oversee the supplier management and contract negotiations, with the ability to optimize procurement processes and drive efficiencies.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or related fields .
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, with proven supervisory expertise.
- Working experience in FMCG with SAP reporting and contracting .
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage and supervise the end-to-end procurement cycle, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Supplier & Vendor management by developing and nurturing strategic relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure the best value for the organization.
- Inventory Oversight by monitoring inventory levels and forecasting future requirements to guarantee timely supply and avoid disruptions.
- Cost optimization by analyzing market trends and vendor performance to implement cost-saving strategies and ensure quality .
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and organizational standards while providing regular performance and compliance reports
