VACANCY: Country Manager
Reporting to: Group CEO

Stallion Security Namibia, a leading security and risk management service provider in Namibia.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Country Manager is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of the Namibia strategy. This role requires a leader with a knack for a business who will help to set the strategic goals and to direct all operational activities of the Namibia division to ensure that business objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Partner with executive-level management in the development of Namibia strategic objectives
- Assist the Group CEO in setting strategic goals for operational efficiency
- Formulate strategies to assist with the revenue growth, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs.
- Serves as a principal point of collaboration, leadership, and expertise to both internal and external constituencies on professional and operational matters.
50% Sales Operations
- Manage and drive sales to achieve budgeted sales growth.
- Establish own key relationships in order to drive own sales.
- Market analysis and understanding to ensure competitive sales offering.
- Encourage and implement innovative approaches to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.
- Stay abreast of new sales techniques, technologies, and best practices.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends.
- Analyse competitors and adjust sales strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Financial Management
- Review management accounts monthly to ensure accuracy and to understand the financial performance of the business, as well as to forecast predicted financial performance in the near term.
- Budget Control
- Work closely with the finance team to assist in the compilation of a detailed achievable annual budget for relevance, reasonability, and support of the strategic plans.
- Manage monthly expenditure effectively and efficiently by controlling indirect expenses versus Budget.
- Discuss annual increases with the existing clients and ensure that these increases are within Stallion’s acceptable GP levels and are received before the contract expires.
Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed
- Recommends, participates in the development of, and establishes Namibia policies and procedures.
- Establish and implement short- and long-term departmental goals and objectives.
- Monitors and evaluates program effectiveness; effects changes that are essential for improvements.
Oversees all facets of the daily operations of the Namibia division, ensuring compliance with all the governing laws and legislation.
- Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for Namibia key initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
- Plan, monitor, and analyse key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
Client retention and maintaining customer service levels
- Ensure an average of 85% score on service evaluations.
- Ensure no service-related complaints escalated to MD.
- Ensure 90% evaluations on-site start-ups.
- Ensure zero service-related Namibia cancellations.
- Keep a record of cancellations.
Employee Management
Manages staff in respect of planning, organising, leading, and development:
- Provide Leadership and guidance for the Namibia division.
- Recruit in alignment with right person on the right seat on the Stallion bus approach.
- Adheres to legislative requirements, company policies, and procedures in respect of employment and safety practices.
- Drives the 100/0 principle and ladder of accountability within the department.
- Encourages a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring that annual training plan targets are met.
- Instil a culture of commitment to customer service and profit appreciation amongst staff.
- Liaise with HR to ensure the Performance plan agreements are relevant.
- Develop, update, and implement the personal development plans for all employees.
- Conduct performance reviews for employees bi-annually within the agreed timeframe.
- Conduct poor performance counselling, in conjunction with the ER department, as and when required.
- Acts as and when necessary, in respect of breaches of procedures and instructions (e.g., disciplinary action, counselling).
- Ensures that prescribed company policies and procedures are always adhered to by all employees.

- Customer Focus Skills: is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services. Acts with customers in mind. Establishes and maintains effective relationships.
- Business Acumen: Ability to demonstrate an understanding of what it takes for a business to be profitable, make viable business decisions and successfully explore and implement strategies.
- Persistence and perseverance: Ability to work well under pressure without compromising work quality or standards. The ability to move past obstacles to achieve end results in an efficient and professional manner.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Grade 12
- Relevant tertiary education in Security Management qualification.
- 5 years experience as a General Manager within the security industry.
- Extensive knowledge of manpower management and Easy Roster experience.
- Valid PSIRA Grade B certificate
- Namibia Citizenship / Namibia Permanent Residence / Namibia Domicile / Namibia valid work permit
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, methods, and techniques within the areas of physical security.
- Excellent presentation skills.
