Requirements

  • Handson experience with shaft infrastructure, winders, conveyances, and related mechanical systems is required

  • Strong knowledge of vibration analysis and reliability analysis concepts

  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

Key responsibilities will include:
Ensure safe and timely transportation of Nutri Feeds staff to and from work as per schedule

  • Report wear and tear on all company vehicles
  • Ensure all necessary spares and tools (e.g. spare wheel, basic tools, warning triangles, jack etc) are present in all company vehicles
  • Ensure that all permits are renewed on time for all company vehicles
  • Book all company vehicles for regular maintenance services timeously
  • Maintain very high personal and vehicle hygiene at all times
  • Avoid the roads which are not fit for driving the vehicle.
  • Always adhere to the road and safety regulations of Botswana.
  • Report any misuse of any company vehicle.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is engaged only for official use i.e. no private use of the vehicle (the vehicle is under 24-Hour surveillance)
  • Ensure that the vehicle is fully secured at all times.
  • Report all faults to the Supervisor/Maintenance Manager immediately and Any other reasonable and moral request that may be asked of you.

To qualify for the position, candidates will require the following:
PrDP (Passengers)

  • At least 2 years’ experience in public transportation
  • Honest & trustworthy
  • People & communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the operating area
