Overall Purpose
Responsible for overseeing the Company’s financial health by managing accounting functions, financial reporting and revenue processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting and Management: oversees the overflow of management accounting information and prepare comprehensive financial reports and statements.
- Revenue and Sales Management: manage concentrate sales processes, cash collection and revenue accounting and valuation.
- Account Reconciliation: performs regular account reconciliations and verify ledger accuracy to ensure timely month end and year-end closes.
- Tax Compliance: prepares tax returns and ensure all financial activities maintain compliances with IFRS.
- Audit support: leads preparations for both internal and external audits to ensure organisational compliance.
- System oversight: apply and manage computerised accounting management systems to streamline distribution of financial information.
- Supervision: oversees and guide the work of junior accounting staff, including managing their daily tasks and overflow.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional qualification: ACCA or CIMA
- Membership: BICA
- Experience: at least 5, of which 3 years should be post-qualification experience in accounting ideally within the mining environment
- Technical Skills: strong knowledge of IFRS standards and proficiency in accounting software packages.

Morupule Coal Mine : SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICER
Job Summary:
To provide support for the contract administration function by developing tender documents and associated administration, preparing, negotiating, and reviewing company contracts to internal and external clients for the containment of costs and the management of commercial risk inherent to the procurement process.
Key Activities
- Manages the end – to – end tender processes, that is, advertising, bid submission, evaluation, and contract award.
- Develops and administers tender enquiries for various works and services across the organisation.
- Ensure the scope of works/services is in the required format and accordingly signed.
- Ascertains that the enquiry requisition is duly authorised, and the proposed tenderers are accordingly registered.
- Facilitates technical and commercial tender evaluation and compiles approval and tender evaluation and adjudication reports.
- Prepares and issues notifications of contract awards in the agreed terms and conditions to the successful tenderer. Issues regret letters to the unsuccessful tenderers on the outcome of the adjudication processes.
- Negotiates and establishes contracts according to submitted customer requests and terms and conditions with potential business partners.
- Ensure that employees understand and comply with company contracts through continuous engagement.
- Maintains and updates organized system of physical and digital records to ensure availability of information.
- Provide insights by tracking and reporting supply chain performance and spend.
- Develop dual sourcing and contingency strategies.
- Development and monitoring of Service Level Agreements.
- Adheres to all safety, health and environment policies and procedures in area of responsibility.
- Identifies and implements creative and innovative ideas to improve the Mini Business Unit performance.
- Translate operational needs into commercial sourcing strategies.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Commerce / Business Administration or equivalent.
- Professional Membership (MCIPS or equivalent) is required.
- 5 years’ post graduate work experience in tender management, tender committee advisory, contracts administration and contracts management environment.
- Understanding of SHE Management Systems (ISO 45001: 2018 & ISO 14001: 2015).

Position: Senior Drill Supervisor – Deep Hole Specialist
All candidates must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and proven experience in advanced drilling methodologies. This includes expertise in Diamond Drilling Surface Core Methods, Reverse Circulation Drilling Methods, and Deep Hole Drilling Techniques.
Candidates should also possess strong proficiency as Mud Rotation Operators (LDD), with the ability to manage Large Diameter Drilling operations and Blast Hole Drilling programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage high-risk deep hole drilling operations, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.
- Demonstrate expertise in deep Kimberlite and country rock diamond core drilling.
- Apply knowledge of Diamond Drilling Surface Core Methods, Reverse Circulation Drilling, Mud Rotation Operations (LDD), Large Diameter Drilling, and Blast Hole Drilling.
- Operate and manage drilling programs reaching depths of 5000m or more.
- Manage the technical, mechanical, and logistical aspects of drilling operations in remote and challenging environments.
- Ensure safe and efficient drilling practices at all times.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and training to drilling teams to enhance operational performance.
- Manage field camps and coordinate resources to support large-scale drilling projects.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records of drilling activities.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the drilling industry, specifically in high-risk deep hole drilling.
- Extensive experience with diamond drilling machinery and challenging drilling environments.
- Strong technical and mechanical expertise with drilling equipment, especially Air-Core Drill Rigs.
- Proven track record in managing large drilling field camps in remote locations.
- Advanced Diamond Drilling Certificate or equivalent certification.
- Certificate IV in Drilling and Certificate of Training in Drill Rig Operation from an internationally recognized institute.
- A Drilling/Exploration Supervisory Certificate, Deep Hole Drilling or Diamond Core & Reverse Circulation Drilling will be an added advantage.

BLASTING TECHNICIAN
Main Purpose of the role
Top Mining Services is seeking a qualified and experienced Blasting Technician to join its TMS team based at Kopano Copper Mine operations, in Dukwi. The successful candidate will be responsible for, technical support and advice to the Blasting Operations and clients. Basically, these include guidance on the implementation of blasting activities; training on, and marketing of the blasting Systems in use, Fire Blasts as well as to assist in all the relevant training and risk management documentations.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Provide technical support and advice to the blasting team and the clients
• Provide or facilitate training of the newcomers/visitors on the technicalities of blasting.
• Monitor and continually aims to improve on the quality of explosives products, e.g., densities.
• Ensure the accuracy of technical equipment, e.g., by regularly facilitating the calibrations of MMUs and calibration scales and seismographies, etc.
• Assist in all the relevant training and risk management documentations.
• Produce the pre-blasts and post-blast reports, to be shared with both relevant senior management at TMS and the customers.
• Continually monitors quality throughout the whole blasting processes.
• Monitor blast ground vibrations and aims for continual improvement in cases of deviations.
• Monitor/analyse blasts fragmentation distributions and aims for improvements in cases of deviations.
• Play a major role in ensuring that good quality services are rendered to the customers, e.g., explosive products of the right quality, equipment/devices’ accuracy.
• Involved in developing safe working procedures and other relevant documentations.
• Produce charging plans and ensures that charging is done according to the agreed upon plans.
• Simulates tie-ups, and eventually ensures that tie-up is done according to the agreed plan.
• Ensure that the client’s smooth pit final walls are achieved, and at the right angles.
• Involved in co-designing blasts/blocks (including parameters) within an operation’s technical team (both TMS and client)
• Responsible for supervising the technical section/office at the site (e.g., the procurement, storage, maintenance, use & safeguarding of the office technical equipment.
JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Academic Qualifications
• At least a Diploma in Mining Engineering
• A holder of a valid blasting licence (surface or underground)
Job Experience
• 3 years surface/underground blasting experience
• Must be in possession of a blasting license
• Understanding and experience in the use of detonator systems
• Understanding of and practical experience in surface/underground mining and in particular blasting
• Knowledge of the technical office applications deployed, e.g., Blast map III
• Ability to run the site on the absence of a Site Foreman
Attributes and Skills
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in blast monitoring techniques
• Computer skills; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and E-mail
• Valid Driver’s license
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Must be able to build and maintain good internal and external customer relationships.
• Must be willing to perform any physical work in the field related to the usage of all Blasting Systems and monitor the performance thereof.
• Highly motivated self-starter, with unquestionable high levels of integrity.
• A strong desire to learn and progress in the field of Blasting Systems.
