Carnegie Mellon University’s Dietrich College is searching for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join their team. Core responsibilities include: Examining the impact of isolationist strategies on scientific production and impact Leadership in research design, analysis, and dissemination Participation in collaborative team meetings Other duties as assigned Adaptability, excellence, and passion are vital qualities within Carnegie Mellon University. We are in search of a team member who can effectively interact with a varied population of internal and external partners at a high level of integrity. We are looking for someone who shares our values and who will support the mission of the university through their work. You should demonstrate: Interdisciplinary research expertise related to science studies and science policy Strong knowledge of quantitative research methods and their application in research settings Understanding of the global scientific landscape and current trends impacting science and policy Ability to engage with complex, cross-disciplinary research questions and approaches Qualifications: A Ph.D. is required. Applicants who are in the process of obtaining their Ph.D. may be considered, provided they will complete all degree requirements, including the dissertation/defense, by December 31, 2026 OR December 2026. A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered. Additional Information: This is a full–time (37.5 of hours), exempt position based in Pittsburgh, PA Fixed Term: This is a fixed-term position with an estimated duration of 12 months.
