DOCUMENT CONTROLLER
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION The Document Controller will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of project documentation for expansion projects, including receipt, coding, distribution, storage, archiving, and handover. Establishing and maintaining a project document management system to ensure document control is standardized, secure and traceable thereby supporting smooth project execution and delivery.
GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for providing geotechnical engineering expertise and support for underground and surface mining operations and projects. The role will be responsible for ground stability assessments, the design of ground support systems, monitoring and data analysis. It will also ensure safe, efficient and sustainable mine development in compliance with MMG-Khoemacau’s safety and environmental standards conservation outcomes through scientifically rigorous offset design, habitat restoration, and stakeholder collaboration.
IT/OT COORDINATOR
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION The IT/OT Coordinator will be responsible for participating in the network planning and designing of the second phase of the MMG-Khoemacau Mine Project. The role will be responsible for assisting in building the network infrastructure for smart mines, and taking part in project implementation, acceptance and operation preparation. It will also assist in formulating network security plans to ensure the security of IT/OT networks and engaging in the planning and construction of the mine wireless communication system.
SENIOR EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION The Senior Exploration Geologist will be responsible for contributing across all phases of exploration from greenfield early stage through to brownfield exploration targets, up to resource definition ensuring that KCM resource growth and development objectives are achieved throughout the project lifecycles.
LABORATORY TECHNICIAN- PASTE FILL
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for providing technical and operational support within the Paste Fill Laboratory through conducting laboratory testing, sample preparation, data recording, QA/QC monitoring and maintaining laboratory equipment and housekeeping standards. The role will be supporting geotechnical and paste fill operations by ensuring accurate testing, reporting and compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures. The Laboratory Technician will also be assisting in instrumentation activities, sample collection and other geotechnical support functions as directed by the Paste Fill Foreman.
PROJECT PLANNER/ SCHEDULER
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION The Project Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for laying out the framework that guides a project’s progression from initiation to completion. They identify and segregate different tasks that make up a project, setting milestones and deadlines and monitoring progress to the end goal. The Planner plays an important role in ensuring that a project is completed efficiently and on time, while staying within budget constraints.
SHEC TRAINER
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION The SHE Trainer will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering training programs that ensure employees and contractors have the knowledge, skills, and awareness to work safely, protect the environment, and comply with company standards and legal requirements.
GRADER OPERATOR
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION The Grader Operator will be responsible for operating self-propelled motor grader, form stakes and lines and performing either rough grade finishing with the ability to learn or fine grade finishing, spreading and mixing materials on roadway.
BIODIVERSITY OFFICER
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION The Biodiversity Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the company’s biodiversity offsetting programme in alignment with international best practices and the company’s nature strategy. The role will ensure that mining operations achieve measurable conservation outcomes through scientifically rigorous offset design, habitat restoration and stakeholder collaboration.
CLERK OF WORKS
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION The Clerk of Works will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance, timely intervention of technical issues, and oversee the delivery of the construction project work in accordance with the Client’s requirements. The incumbent will be inspecting the workmanship and quality of work at the construction site, monitoring compliance with health, safety, environmental and social safeguards on-site, and report back to Management Team and or the Mechanical / Project Engineer.
ACCOUNTS OFFICER
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION The Accounts Officer will be responsible for handling a broad range of financial functions including treasury operations, general accounting, debtors’ management and tax compliance (with a focus on Withholding Tax). This is a hands-on role suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple financial responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency.
